Indo-Islamic art developed through the interaction of Islamic culture with South Asian traditions. Architecture, manuscript painting, and decorative arts blended Persian, Central Asian, and Indian elements. Mughal art represents one of its most refined expressions. The style reflects cultural exchange rather than a single unified aesthetic.
